An impressive first-ever 12-0 victory at Winthrop began a successful 7-3 campaign. Lyndsey, Brackett, and Messinger scored TDs....The Headers also spoiled the debut of Gloucester coach Nate Ross, 19-6. Ross went on to coach the Fishermen for 30 years...There was a big 33-2 victory over Saugus and'then a 13-6 win over Swampscott. Brackett and Glover were the touchdown scorers.
