Parker Caswell (1946-1949) 

Parker Caswell was a three-year starter, at tackle in 1947 and 1948 and as offensive center and middle-linebacker in 1949. He started every game in 1947 under Coach Dave Morey, and in 1948-49 under new Coach Herm Hussey. The 1949 year was 7-2-0 and MHS won its second consecutive Northeastern Conference title as Caswell, at 213 lbs, emerged as the leader of an outstanding line. He was the key defensive player in the 13-0 major upset of Beverly, which had a 16 game unbeaten streak with "a hand in the majority of tackles". He was named to the All Star Team of all the local newspapers, several Boston papers and was the only unanimous choice of eleven North Shore coaches. He later played three years of football at Dartmouth and served MHS in various coaching capacities and as faculty manager from 1958 through 1990.

Dwight "Bucky" Grader (1957-1959) 

Dwight Grader was a member of the 1957 squad which was 4-4-0 and became a starter on defense in 1958 in Coach Herman Hussey's last season. He was cited as an outstanding tackler in several games in his junior year and became the starting center late in the season as Captain Joe McKane moved into the backfield. Grader was co-captain with Bill Rockett of Coach Noel Reebenacker's first Marblehead Team in 1959, which started strong but finished 3-6-0. He continued his fine defensive play in 1959 and became a key offensive player as well at center at 170 lbs., and was named to the Northeastern Conference All Star Team. Grader continued his football at Northeastern where he was Senior Captain of the football team which earned a post-season bowl game.

Dave Knight (1971-1973) 

Dave Knight played three years under Alex Kulevich at Marblehead High School. He saw limited action as a half-back and linebacker in 1971 in a 5-4 season; became a key defensive player as a linebacker in the 5-4 1972 season; and emerged a Northeastern Conference All Star in 1973 as a two-way standout as an excellent running and pass-catching half-back, and hard-hitting linebacker. Knight was co-captain of the Northeastern Conference Co-Champions (7-2-0) with Bill Sahagian and Mark Fader. He scored 7 touchdowns and one two-point conversions. His 44 points were second to Saliagian's 48 on a team that scored 195 points to the opponent's 79. Three of his scores were pass receptions from QB Brian Buckley. Knight's scored the last two touchdowns in Marblehead's stunning upset of previously unbeaten Swampscott 20-12, the first on a short run and the winning score on a late game fourth down pass reception on a fake field goal in one of the Thanksgiving series most exciting games. 

 

Mike Morin (1974-1976) 

Mike Morin was a member of the 1974 football squad at Marblehead in 1974 (5-5-0) and saw considerable action as a halfback and linebacker as a junior in 1975 (5-5-0). He was senior co-captain of the 1976 Marblehead High School Team with Brad Gilbert and Larry Healy under Alex Kulevich. Morin became an outstanding two-way player in 1976 as an 180 lb linebacker and hard running fullback. He scored 54 of the team's total 91 points on nine touchdowns. Three of the scores were in a surprising 19-6 victory over Beverly. He was named to the Northeastern Conference All Star Team and to the Salem News All Star Team as fullback who gained over 500 yards on the ground in a 6-4-0 season. He later played football at both the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and at Boston State College.
